WINTER ALERTS
Winter weather alerts are in place for the higher elevations of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California. A system that moved into California yesterday will bring heavy snow to the mountains in the rest of the Southwest. Up to 16 inches of snow will be possible, especially where winter storm warnings are in effect in Colorado and Utah. Winds will also be gusting up to 35 mph. FORECAST
Traveling may prove to be a little difficult through the mountains. With heavy snow and gusty winds, visibility could be reduced at times. Roads may also be very slick. Snow will begin to diminish in most areas on Saturday. Take extra time on your commutes and be safe!
