Heavy rain and snow has been pushing through the West and more is ahead into this weekend. Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for the Sierra Nevada northward to southern Oregon. Winter Weather Advisories continue from the Cascades to the Tetons. Strong wind gusts to 60 mph have prompted several wind alerts throughout the West. Another foot of snow will fall from the Cascades to the Sierra. Heavy rain will push along the coast and through the foothills, with totals of 4" to 8" possible into the Pacific Northwest. A series of cold fronts will move through the West for the rest of the work week and into this weekend. Each system will bring a wave of rain and snow into the region, heavy at times.
