Isolated Severe Storms for TX

.After a busy afternoon of strong to severe storms, the SPC has maintained a slight risk for portions of Texas tonight and into the overnight hours. Cities like Dallas and Houston have the potential to see a few strong to severe storms overnight. Damaging winds and hail will be the primary concern. We will start to see storms wind down overnight, but the severe threat for the southern plains is in place over the next few days.

Storms will die off tonight and overnight with the loss of daytime heating, but we do see the potential for more rounds of severe storms across the southern plains over the next few days.
