Much Needed Rain & Snow Wraps up for Southern California

Rain has finally fallen in southern California! After nearly a month since the last measured rainfall, Southern California recorded totals upwards of an inch!

However, there were a few spots where heavy rain overwhelmed the landscape between Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, and LA. In the future, burn-scarred areas should be on high alert for mudslides and debris flows any time rain is in the forecast.

Snowfall totals grew to over a foot in portions of Nevada and California!
