Storms throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana brought a wind and hail threat today, with numerous storms producing hailstones. (above) After an isolated severe threat today, there is just a general risk for thunderstorms through this evening. Models indicate a few showers and thunderstorms moving out tonight, as a trough of low pressure moves south.
As far as rainfall totals through tonight, we will see a half an inch or less, with isolated heavier rain possible.
As we look ahead drier and below average temps are in place for Chicago. Rain chances pick up again for the weekend.
