Alabama is cleaning up after deadly tornadoes tore through the suburbs of Birmingham, AL and into Georgia on Thursday. One tornado warning continued for over 230 miles from south of Tuscaloosa, AL and into northern Georgia.
The damage is devastating in the southern suburbs of Birmingham. A storm survey should be conducted by the National Weather Service in the coming days to determine how strong these tornadoes were.

It wasn’t just Alabama, but Tennessee in the crosshairs too.
