Just tacking on a few degrees on the dew point temperature can make a huge difference! Some localized areas could sneak into the upper 70's and low 80's thanks to the corn. Imagine a 5% increase in the humidity.
That can jump the Heat Index by 5° if you're hot enough! It makes a difference after a while.
As with any sort of heat-related danger, it comes down to preparation - drinking plenty of water, and taking plenty of breaks. Be sure to check on your neighbors, even if they are a few miles away!
