A Colorado Low is working across the Plains bringing snow from Colorado to Michigan and even the Northeast. Snow will continue to move east overnight and winter alerts remain in place for additional snowfall through the overnight hours. Multiple inches of additional snow will be possible.

Snow will quickly taper off over the plains overnight. However, the overnight hours will still bring snow to areas surrounding Lake Michigan, especially for Michigan.

Moving through Thursday morning, Michigan will be the spot to see the most additional snowfall accumulation.
