 A slight risk (meaning scattered severe storms) of severe weather is in the forecast over parts of Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana and southern Michigan.

Severe Risks

All modes of severe weather will be in play today.  This includes large hail, damaging winds, tornadoes and very heavy rain. The tornado risk will be more confined to eastern Colorado, central Illinois and eastern Iowa.  We could see some tornado watches or severe thunderstorm watches in these areas for Monday afternoon and evening.
