On Monday, confirmed tornadoes were spotted in southern Minnesota. As storms continue to rumble through the Upper Midwest through early Tuesday, the SPC has maintained a SLIGHT (level 2 out of 5) risk for severe storms including the cities of Chicago, Milwaukee, and Dubuque.

Areas highlighted in green and brown below have a heightened threat of seeing enough spin in the atmosphere for a few, isolated tornadoes.

With 1-3 inches potentially falling in a short amount of time, keep an eye on some of those low-water crossings. Some heavier totals will be possible too!
