A cold front will bring the chance for strong storms and heavy rain across the Southeast U.S. today and tonight.  The severe risk will be low, but some areas could still see some strong storms with heavy rain and gusty winds.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

The Storm Prediction Center is not highlighting any particular area for strong storms today, but areas from the Gulf Coast of Louisiana up towards the Carolinas will have the chance for showers and storms today and tonight.  Some storms could contain some small hail and gusty winds, just not strong enough to be classified as a  severe storm.
