First the snow and ice, and then the cold - a one, two winter punch is headed into the South and Southeast. Freeze Warnings have been issued from Texas to Florida as temperatures fall below freezing all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Wind chill alerts have been issued for two dozen states along and east of the Mississippi River. Bitter wind chills will range from the teens below zero in the Upper Midwest to the 30s in Florida and Texas. For WeatherNation: Meteorologist Mace Michaels
