The 4th of July is a day for celebration, food and fireworks. Many will be headed out to see the fireworks tonight as well as shooting off their own. Here is a look at the forecast for a few of the largest firework shows people will be attending.
One of the biggest shows in the country is the 39th Annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks. This show takes over a whole year to plan, and a crew of roughly 30 people and 9 days of preparation to implement.
The National Mall Fourth of July Celebration in Washington, DC will entertain around 700,000 people who will see the Potomac River light up under the almost 18 minute show.
Boston, MA will see nearly 500,000 people in attendance of the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. This is a 20 minute show that takes 7 days to set up.
San Diego’s Big Bay Boom will host between 300,000 and 500,000 watching the 18 minute show.
The Fair St. Louis in Missouri has three nights of shows which will allow almost 250,000 people to get a peak at the 11,000 fireworks this show has to offer.
The 22nd Annual Melaleuca Freedom Celebration in Idaho Falls, ID is expected to draw around 150,000 people to watch this 30 minute show featuring nearly 17,500 fireworks exploding over the Snake River.
