Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas through Thursday evening. After 2 pm CST and through 7 pm CST, wintry weather in the form of snow, sleet and mixed is possible, especially during the evening commute. Winter Weather Advisories are in place for Dallas/Fort Worth and surround areas. Windy Advisories also stretch across the state of Texas, into Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Kansas, with wind that could gust up to 50 mph. Winter Weather Advisories are in place for most of the southern United States. This is all associated with a powerful storm system and cold front sweeping across the state. More details on this storm system on WeatherNation TV. For WeatherNation, I am Meteorologist Marcus Walter.
