Four games divisional games are ahead today (Friday) in Major League Baseballs playoff race. It will be game two for the National League teams, with the first games played in the American League.

The first game is in Houston between the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians. There is a chance for rain for the first pitch at 1:05 p.m. CDT, so the retractable roof at Minute Maid Park will likely be closed. It will be warm, with highs expected in the 90s. Game two on Saturday also has a threat for rain.
The roof was closed last night for game one at Miller Park in Milwaukee between the Brewers and Colorado Rockies at 3:15 p.m. CDT. With a slight chance for showers today and a cold breeze, the roof will likely be closed today for game two.
The New York Yankees will take on the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park this evening. Temperatures will be in the 50s for the 7:32 p.m. first pitch, with only a few clouds as high pressure builds into the region from the north. Dry and seasonal weather is expected for game two on Saturday.
More heat is ahead in Los Angeles for game two of the series between the Dodgers and Atlanta Braves at 6:37 p.m. PDT. There will be plentiful sunshine and temperatures in the 80s.
