Another day of heat and humidity in the Northeast as temperatures soar through the 90s and the heat index climbs into the triple digits. Heat Advisories extend from near Cape Cod to the Jersey Shore. It won't be quite as hot today as a cold front tracks through the region, but temperatures will still reach into the 90s for many areas along the coast. With high humidity, the heat index will be near the century mark, if not above in the late afternoon. Cooler temperatures are in store for the region into this weekend.
