Severe Storms Hit the Midwest Thursday, Front Moves East

MIDWEST - Strong storms ripped through the Midwest Thursday evening, producing large hail to the size of golf balls, and gusts over 70 mph!

The front will lose most of its energy as it moves toward the east coast Friday and Saturday, with a few thunderstorms in the forecast, but no severe storms anticipated.

The Storm Prediction Center does not currently expect severe storms on Saturday! With some cooler air moving in behind the front, a few isolated rain and snow showers will be possible.
