Southern California has not had any relief from scorching hot temperatures for days. Luckily, by the end of this week, that is looking to change. Excessive heat warning has been in effect for two days now. Temperatures will continue to be quite hot for the next couple days. Most areas seeing the 100s and upper 90s. By Friday, the upper level trough in the area will deepen. This will bring is some moisture, in the form of clouds and possible showers, and help cool down some of those cities! Temperatures cool down by at least 10 degrees just in time for the weekend!   For WeatherNation- Meteorologist Shelly Lindblade
