UPDATE (2PM ET): The tornadoes that moved through Mercer, Montgomery & Greene Counties have been given preliminary ratings of at least EF-3.
UPDATE (11AM ET): Over thirty Dayton residents are being treated for injuries due to last night’s tornadoes.
One fatality has been confirmed in Celina, Ohio after a significant tornado moved through the area. The mayor of Celina said an 81-year-old man died after a car crashed into his residence.
This deadly tornado was part of a larger tornado outbreak where multiple tornadoes devastated several towns, including Dayton.
A large tornado passed just north of downtown Dayton, destroying structures and leaving tens of thousands without power.

Later on Tuesday, the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio is conducting damage surveys to determine the strength of these tornadoes.
