Just before 4 PM CST on Monday, the first tornado warning of many was issued for parts of Louisiana. https://twitter.com/NWStornado/status/1059563974365069313 At least one tornado was confirmed by the Storm Prediction Center as of late Monday afternoon, but there also were numerous reports of funnel clouds and tornadoes across the state. https://twitter.com/i/status/1059583481590607872 https://twitter.com/i/status/1059593166364364800 According to reports, these storms caused damage in the town of Plantation Point and Marthaville, LA.  We are waiting to get more information from local law enforcement and the National Weather Service including storm surveys within the next day or so. https://twitter.com/WeatherNation/status/1059598885096542208 Stay with WeatherNation for the latest on the tornado threat that continues into Monday evening.
