Slow-moving train thunderstorms produced extreme rainfall across portions of Central Florida on Sunday, triggering a flash-flood emergency in Lake County. The area recorded nearly 18" of rain in under 5 hours.

A few other spots along Florida's east coast experienced the heavy downpours, even breaking daily records.

A stalled-out front was the culprit of the training showers. Winds were also clocked at up to 60 mph.
Another round of showers and storms are possible as the cold front associated with this system works on through.
