The heavy rain will cause a flash flooding risk for the eastern part of Oklahoma and far western Arkansas today and early Wednesday. The potential for heavy rain in a short period of time will lead to the risk of flash flooding.  Flood alerts are already in place, so if you live in these areas you will need to be weather aware.
