Large Tornado Moved Through Nashville Early Tuesday Morning

Looking Back

Checking back on VIPIR Radar from early this morning you can see all the rotation from this storm.  Checking the velocity from the radar site north of Nashville after midnight, the rotation is very strong and clear. The velocity shows the inbound and outbound winds in relation to the radar.  Just looking at these maps you can clearly see a tornado with strong rotation.
