Some of the northern Rockies in Colorado benefitted from late-April snow over the past couple of days! Nederland, CO, which is about 15 miles west of Boulder, saw 15" of snow in the past 2 days. Even Denver Airport recorded just shy of 6.5" of snow.

Someone in Evergreen, CO recorded this video of 2 doe hanging out under some trees during the snowfall.

Although it may feel a bit late in the season for this amount of snow, it is average for Denver to see its last measurable snowfall of the year in late-April.
