More Severe Storms for the Plains Wednesday

Another day of severe weather is in the forecast for the Plains.  Areas of Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas could all see severe storms today.  Areas that experienced severe weather Tuesday could see some more severe weather again today.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

Numerous severe storms are in the forecast today for the central and southern High Plains.  From Peoria to Oklahoma City,  severe storms will be possible with all modes of severe weather in play.

Severe Risks

Damaging winds, large destructive hail and tornadoes will all be possible.  The tornado risk will be highest form northeast Oklahoma to central Missouri.  You will want to be on alert in these areas.

Forecast

The storms will really start to fire off and become more organized as we head into the evening hours.  The upper-level winds should be strong enough to allow these storms to last through the night into early Thursday morning.  Keep checking with WeatherNation for more updates.
