Winter weather advisories have been issued for the Smoky Mountains into Monday afternoon. The higher elevations will see some of the heavier snowfall.
The snow chances will begin to diminish by the afternoon for many of these areas of the Mid-Atlantic. Road conditions could still be slick, so drivers will need to use caution on the roadways.
Snowfall totals will rain in the 1-3 inch range with higher totals possible in the higher elevations.
