Upper-level energy heading towards to the Mid-Atlantic will bring rain and higher elevation snow. Here is the very latest forecast.

Winter weather advisories have been issued for the Smoky Mountains into Monday afternoon.  The higher elevations will see some of the heavier snowfall.

Forecast

The snow chances will begin to diminish by the afternoon for many of these areas of the Mid-Atlantic. Road conditions could still be slick, so drivers will need to use caution on the roadways.

Snowfall Forecast
