The heavy rain and flooding will continue today along the coast of Texas. https://twitter.com/WeatherNation/status/1009099128352067585 Expect steady rain throughout the day. Some showers could be quite heavy at times. Moderate risk of heavy rainfall near the coast with slight to marginal risks of excessive rainfall spreading inland. 5+ inches of rain have been seen for most areas along the coast. Expect another 4-7 inches for most areas with some localized areas reaching up to a foot of rain! Stay safe everyone, and remember if you see flooding on the roads, turn around. Do not take the risk. https://twitter.com/WeatherNation/status/1009100634908327936   For WeatherNation -Meteorologist Shelly Lindblade
