Scorching Heat Across the Southwest

Temperatures are staying in the uppers 90s to 100s for the next couple days in the Southwest. The valley areas in California will see triple digit temperatures as well. A red flag warning is in effect for parts of Colorado, New Mexico, and California. Winds will also increase today making it easy for fires to spread in these areas. A fire weather watch is also in effect for the western part of Nevada. A heat advisory is in effect for parts of Texas, New Mexico, and California.
