Summer Heat Builds East of the Rockies

A classic early-summer weather pattern is setting up across the eastern half of the country this week. Expect increasing temps, above-average humidity and several days with potential record daytime highs being reached.

The Central Plains will feel the heat first.

And with above average humidity levels, the feel like temperature will reach triple digits for some.

Then this pattern shifts East and cities along the I-95 corridor could feel some of their warmest temps of the season.
