Brrrr!  It was a chilly first morning of Summer throughout the state of Maine!  For many, temperatures plummeted into the 40s.  A few areas in the northern part of the Pine Tree State dipped into the 30s Friday morning.  In fact, the city of Houlton set a new record low temperature for June 22nd.  The record low of 33 degrees was nearly 20 degrees below normal. On Saturday morning, temperatures are not expected to be quite as chilly.  Temperatures will bottom out in the 40s and 50s. Looking ahead, a more summer-like temperature trend will take hold across the region.  Morning lows will generally be in the 50s with afternoon highs in the 70s.
