FORECAST
A front moving in today will bring in heavy rain for California. Rain is looking to last all day long. Once the moisture gets into the higher elevations, it will transition to heavy snow for the mountains. More moisture plans to move in on Sunday that will keep the rain going for the second half of our weekend.   SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBILITY
The system that is producing heavy rainfall today will also have a chance at producing strong to severe storms. A chance of isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible near the coast of California. A tornado threat and damaging wind threat also exists for those same cities in the marginal risk.   RAINFALL FORECAST
Rain is looking to to be heaviest near the coast of northern California where we could reach up to 3 inches of rain! Make sure to stay safe, and if you see flooding, "turn around, don't drown."   A LOOK AHEAD
