Severe storm storm chances will be increasing across the High and Southern Plains later today.  Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes will all be possible.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

We have a slight risk over parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and the Dakotas.  This means scattered severe storms in the forecast for all areas under the slight risk.

Forecast

The timing for today's storms will be during the late afternoon and early evening, during the peak heating hours.  Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes will all be possible. Meteorologist Patrick Crawford
