The forecast looks stormy over the four corners region through the weekend thanks to Tropical Storm John. New Mexico in particular will see the potential for heavy rain Thursday. Flash Flood Watches are out into the evening for areas in green. Areas that saw heavy rain yesterday will be most susceptible. These storms have extra fuel thanks to a tropical system churning off of the Baja Peninsula. Tropical storm John is pumping moisture up the Gulf of California into the desert southwest. This will keep storm chances and the threat for more heavy rain in the forecast through the start of the weekend. For Weather Nation: Meteorologist Emily Roehler
