This past week staffers from WeatherNation were in attendance at the American Meteorological Society's 98th Annual Meeting (AMS 2018) held in Austin, TX, from January 6th to January 11th, 2018. The American Meteorological Society is the nation’s premier scientific and professional organization promoting and disseminating information about the atmospheric, oceanic, hydrologic sciences. Its also an organization that has more than 13,000 members that include scientists, researchers, educators, broadcast meteorologists, students, weather enthusiasts, and other professionals in the fields of weather, water, and climate. This Annual Meeting usually attracts thousands of attendees from around the United States and the world, and WeatherNation was represented among the thousands in attendance this year. In particular, WeatherNation was able to participate in the 17th Annual WeatherFest, an event where the public can learn and interact with many meteorologists and scientists in the field of weather through activities, poster presentations and demonstrations. This event provided the public with a fun and fascinating look at all things weather, water, and climate. If you were in attendance at this event, take a look below to see if you see yourself in any pictures from the event. For WeatherNation, I am Meteorologist Marcus Walter.   Photos from the 17th Annual WeatherFest, an event held as part of the American Meteorological Society's 98th Annual Meeting this year in Austin, TX.
