A potent storm system brought widespread severe storms from the South to the Ohio River Valley. Even reports of 5 tornadoes and multiple fatalities. However, the cold front is still pushing through showers and storms across the south this Sunday. The Storm Prediction Center has areas across Texas, Louisiana and into the Gulf Coast. Unfortunately, strong damaging wind and tornadoes are possible again today. Winds could gust up to 50 or 60 mph with any of the stronger storms. Even if there are not severe storms that form, heavy rain will be possible with these lines of showers and storms. Rain will stick around for the next few days across the south with more strong storms remaining a possibility.   For WeatherNation, Meteorologist Kate Mantych.
