No SNOWpening day for Chicago Cubs fans. The Chicago Cubs vs Pittsburgh Pirates game on Monday was delayed until Tuesday because of the snow. Officials tried to push back the start time of the game but there was just too much snow and cold air around for Monday. https://twitter.com/MeLlamoTrevor/status/983354998292697088 While it might have ruined many people's plans for the home opener, the weather for Chicago will be much better on Tuesday for the rescheduled game.
