4.4 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Southern California

Many in San Bernardino County, California were shaken by the 4.4 magnitude earthquake Tuesday evening. Luckily, no one was hurt and no damage was reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey shows the epicenter 2 miles SSW of Devore, 8 miles WNW of San Bernardino, and just shy of 50 miles ENE of Los Angeles.

The quake could be felt throughout southern California and was followed by a few aftershocks. It serves as a reminder to Californians of the dangerous land they live on.
