An upper-level low diving through the Plains sparked gusty thunderstorms on Saturday, producing 60-70 mph gusts across Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas. The severe weather risk will continue across the southwestern Plains through Saturday night.
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will continue through Saturday night, all moving to the south-southeast across Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Texas. Some storms may persist overnight especially across the urban corridor of Colorado.
