This summer has certainly been a hot one in Reno, Nevada.  Since July 1st, the "Biggest Little City in the World" has experienced high temperatures of 90 degrees or more for 51 consecutive days!  This ties the record streak of 90 degree days set between June 16th and August 5th in 2017.  Looking at the forecast, this year's record streak will likely continue.  High temperatures are expected to top out in the lower 90s through the rest of the week. Another record that Reno recently set was the most 100 degree days in a year.  High temperatures reached the century mark 20 times in 2018!  This is most ever observed since weather records began in 1888.
