Another Blast of Cold Air For The South

Another blast of cold air will work through the Southeastern United States this week. With the passing of a cold front, northerly winds will dominate, bringing the temperatures well below average for cities like Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, and Tampa. With this system dry air will be in place, so there will be limited snow.

The mornings will be cold and below average. Atlanta has an average overnight low of 35 for this time of year. Tuesday through Thursday you will start your mornings in the mid-20s. Brrrr. Birmingham, Columbia, and Ralegih will also see morning temps in the 20s.

High temperatures will trend below average as well. Memphis and Raleigh have average temperatures around 50 for this time of year. Memphis will only see a high of 34° on Monday and 38° on Wednesday. For Raleigh, on Wednesday your temp will dip down to 39°. Many cities in Florida will be below average for the second half of the week.
