Northeast
It has been a hot weekend across the Northeast with temperatures widespread into the 90s. Heat alerts remain in place to start the week due to widespread highs in the 90s across New England into the tristate of NY, NJ, and CT once again.

Heat index values will be in the 90s for many, with some approaching triple digits. The heat looks to stay through the start of this week for some, until a cold front swings through the Northeast.

For most in the Northeast, heat relief won't arrive until at least Tuesday.
Central U.S.
Through tonight, heat alerts remain for the Central United States. Heat indices are expected to get up to 110° for some along the Mississippi River Valley.
