An approaching cold front will bring rain and thunderstorms to the Northwest Coast today.  Severe weather risk will be low, but some heavy rain and gusty winds will all be possible.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

General t-storms are in the forecast for the coasts of Oregon and Washington.  This means storms below severe limits will be possible in these areas.  Heavy rain and gusty winds will be the main weather risk.

Forecast

Showers and storms will be in the forecast all day along the coast and some areas could see some stronger storms this afternoon and evening.  The severe risk will be low, but some areas could have wind gusts over 30 mph within a few storms.

Rainfall Potential

Areas of heavy rain will be possible with 1-2" in the forecast through Sunday night.  Areas of low visibility and ponding will all be possible. Keep checking with WeatherNation for more updates on today's storms.
