BIG NEWS! A nice cool down is in the works for the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region. The WPC (Weather Prediction Center) is forecast below average temperatures for the end of July that will last through early August. This cool down will be felt first in the High Plains: Then the cold front will usher in more cool air to the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region: AND even the Northeast will feel a brief shot of lower humidity and cooler than average temperatures: The best news of all ( if you like cooler weather) is that cooler air is supposed to continue through the first to second week of August for some.   For WeatherNation: Meteorologist Andy Stein
