Fire Concern Continues Across Wyoming

Red Flag Warnings are once again in place across southern Wyoming and will stay in effect until Friday evening. Increasing wind and low humidity are forecast for Friday afternoon, which will bring an increased fire potential to the region. These weather conditions will allow any fires that develop to spread easily and quickly. Adding insult to injury, drought is in place across this same area, which has likely producing fuels, such as dry or dead vegetation, that would support any wildfires that develop.
