https://www.facebook.com/WeatherNation/videos/439757803265892/ The dangerous fire weather conditions continue across the State of California. Winds will be picking up throughout Tuesday and critical and extreme risk for fire weather will return Wednesday.

Red flag warnings are still in place for many California counties. These are the areas where the relative humidity will be down to 10% and dangerous wind gusts are possible. Weather conditions in these areas could contribute to extreme fire behavior and make it very difficult for containment. This is especially concerning given the numerous ongoing fires taking place across California.

This could be the strongest Santa Ana event so far this season. Wind gusts of 50 to 80 mph are possible. Wind direction forces air to down the mountain, in turn speeding them up, warming them up and drying them out. A recipe for increased fire danger.
