Torrential rain fell overnight around the city of Groveton, TX. Businesses and homes were inundated after more than 10" of rain fell overnight.

Watch back the radar loop from last night - notice when the rain starts and stops.

A sensor just outside of Groveton by Caney Creek recorded 10.72" of rain overnight.

All of that rain overwhelmed streets and drains leaving roads impassible in many locations. Just look at how high the water was on some cars our field correspondents saw late Sunday night.
