The temperature topped the century mark in a few cities in Texas on Wednesday, setting record highs in McAllen, Austin and Brownsville. Some records could be set once again today (Thursday) as more heat and humidity is ahead for the Lone Star state. A Heat Advisory has been issued across portions of Texas, including Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Triple digit highs are likely in several areas again, with the heat index reaching 105 to 110.
