Tropical moisture streaming northward from Tropical Depression Florence continues to produce heavy rainfall from the Middle Atlantic into the Northeast. Some areas may see more than 4" of rain by Tuesday, which could produce areas of flooding. Flash Flood Watches have been from New England to southward down the Appalachians.  You can read more on the continued flooding threat in North and South Carolina at this link. Showers and thunderstorms will be widespread and numerous, even with a weakening Florence. The system will sweep closer to the Eastern Seaboard on Tuesday, pushing more rain along the coast.
