FORECAST
Today will be a mostly dry day with pleasant conditions, but a cold front moves in tomorrow. This system will bring in widespread rain. Northwestern portions of Washington should expect heavy rainfall throughout the day on Thursday. Rainfall could reach up to 4 inches for these areas. Everyone else should expect 1 to 2 inches of rain over the next 3 days. Plan commutes accordingly. Ponding on roads could be a high possibility on Thursday.
DROUGHT OUTLOOK
Although we do not want all the heavy rain at once, the rain will be very beneficial seeing as Oregon is still under severe to extreme stages of drought throughout the state. Washington and Idaho have also been quite dry as well.
A LOOK AHEAD
