For folks across the Midwest, the rain hasn't stopped in Spring. Unfortunately, that trend continues into Monday. Many locations across Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri are under a Flash Flood Watches until Monday morning. This means that Flash Flooding is possible. Be cautious while driving, especially tonight when visibility is limited. Majority of the Mississippi Valley will see excessive rainfall during Sunday. These are the same spots that have saturated grounds that just can't absorb any more water. That is why the likelihood flash flooding is so high. Locations across Arkansas have already receive over 3" of rain with more to come. Many locations in the Ark-La-Tex could see 5-7", locally. Be cautious while driving and never drive through a roadway covered in water. As always, turn around, don't drown. For WeatherNation, Meteorologist Kate Mantych.
